Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the St. Louis Rams are considering drafting a quarterback in next months NFL Draft.
According to reports, it’s unlikely that the Rams will use either the No.2 or the No. 13 pick on one of the quarterbacks at the top of everyone’s mock drafts.
Reports say the team wants to draft a quarterback in the mid-rounds, but they want someone who will actually pan out and compete for the job in a couple of years.
Sam Bradford has two years left on his contract and recently turned down a contract extension. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Rams pull the trigger on Tom Savage if he’s sitting there when the Rams selection comes up at pick 44 in the second round.
