A new name has emerged on the Minnesota Timberwolves short list of potential head coaching candidates. Marc Stein is reporting that Florida Gators head coach Billy Donovan has become a target for the T’Wolves. According to the report, the Timberwolves believe Donovan could be a coach with enough juice to convince Kevin Love to re-sign with the team.

Donovan’s no compete clause from Florida has expired, but I’m not sure Donovan’s ultimate NBA job is in Minneapolis.
