This College Football season seems to truly be the summer of drug arrests. Particularly weed arrests. The latest one comes from TCU WR Brandon Carter who got popped for weed possession while driving a Lexus:
Fort Worth officers were on routine patrol in the 1600 block of Calhoun Street in downtown Fort Worth about 5:12 p.m. when they ran the license plate of a 2010 Lexus and found the car had a “warrant hit,” the report states.
The officers conducted a traffic stop of the car and subsequently arrested its two occupants, Carter and 22-year-old Alexis Harris, for allegedly possessing less than two ounces of marijuana.
Harris ended up being arrested for the two outstanding warrants. It sounds like both Harris and Carter should have known better than be ride around in a Lexus with outstanding warrants and weed.
Carter has been released while awaiting trial. TCU has no statement at this time.
