UNLV’s loss may make Iowa State the favorites in the Big 12. ¬† Bryce Dejean-Jones has committed to transferring to Iowa State.

The 6-foot-5 guard led the Runnin Rebels in scoring last season (13.6 PPG) and will be eligible immediately since he’s already graduated.

“I’m in the same situation that (Kane) was,” Dejean-Jones said during a weekend interview. “He told me how comfortable he was here, and how they made it easy for him to go out there (on the court) and produce.

“He talked about the fast style of play, about how everybody shares the ball, and the great team chemistry.”
