This is just hilarious.
According to the L.A. Times, V. Stiviano, the woman who leaked the recordings that got former Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, promptly removed from his post, is feeling a bit blue behind her decision.
V. Stiviano, the woman at the center of the Donald Sterling scandal, said she was “very saddened” by the NBA’s decision to ban him from the sport for life, her attorney said Tuesday.
Stiviano’s attorney also claimed that although TMZ did pay someone for the audio, it wasn’t her. It remains a mystery who exactly did receive payment, but in this day and age, I assume it won’t be a secret for long.
Seriously?
I don’t know why Stiviano would be feeling bad for unearthing the seething racism Sterling was injecting into the NBA, and being the reason it was removed. The league will be better for her actions because Sterling, and his ideals, were truly poison for the game, and society in general.
While the legality and motives behind the leaks will be in question for some time, one thing that is not in question is that Sterling needed to be removed from ownership in the NBA. Period.
