Victor Cruz became a rich man putting in work as the slot wide receiver, so you’ll have to forgive him if he’d prefer to continue to operate from the status quo.
During an interview on Thursday’s edition of “NFL Total Access,” Cruz was adamant in his belief that the Giants should select a outside receiver in the NFL Draft.
Cruz even knew what type of receiver best fit their needs.
“A (big-play receiver) is something we need in this offense to be successful,” Cruz continued. “An outside guy that can do the job and that can help fuel all the other receivers in the locker room and put some fire up under them to get them where they have to be.”
If Cruz had it his way, former Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Adams would slip to the Giants at pick 12.
