Wilson, Luck

Russell Wilson has surpassed criticss expectations and he’s very much on his way to becoming one of the greatest QB’s to play in the NFL.

Via ESPN.com, Russell has one quote in his mind “Why not you?” this quote was said by his late father and its safe to say it fuels him everyday to go on the field and leave his heart every time.

“Why can’t I be the best quarterback to ever play the game one day?’ Wilson said. “I’m not right now. I’ve got a long way to go. But one day, you know?”

“I think a great leader is consistent every day,” Wilson said. “That’s how I try to be in terms of my work ethic on and off the field and being the first one in and the last one to leave and all those things. But it’s the same every day thing. There’s no time to sleep and that’s what I try to tell my teammates all the time. My job in playing football is to help the other 10 guys in the huddle get better. If I can do that, if I can help facilitate the ball to the right guy at the right time, I’m doing my job.”

Russell Wilson has been spending his offseason with the Texas Rangers, but that doesn’t mean he’s not thinking about football, he says thats he’s in constant championship mode. Can you blame him? The Seahawks are a hungry team, they have been consistently improving, being silent yet deadly. The team has been quite humble with their championship and look to next season as a way to do it all over again.

Russell Wilson humbleness is something to be admired. He’s appreciative of his teammates and his position in life, thats something you have to respect.
