Bills DT Marcell Dareus Arrested for Synthetic Weed

As first reported by WVUA-TV reporter Travis Leder, Bills DT Marcell Dareus was arrested and released Monday night in Cleburne County, Alabama, for possession of synthetic marijuana.

This isn’t a good look for a guy who has had his share of off field troubles since being picked No.3 overall in the 2011 draft. Buffalo only recently exercised the fifth-year option on Dareus’ rookie contract, which will keep him with the team through the 2015 season.

UPDATE: According to Leder, Dareus was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after initially being pulled over for speeding.
