It appears Tony La Russa wasn’t fully prepared to walk away from the game entirely when he left the St. Louis Cardinals a few years ago.
According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, La Russa will be in charge of turning around the fortunes of the woeful Arizona Diamondbacks.
