The Jacksonville Jaguars seem to have had their eye on Blake Bortles from day one. ESPN’s Britt McHenry reported that Jacksonville would have drafted Bortles even if Jadeveon Clowney had still been on the board when the Jags picked at No.3.
McHenry says the Jaguars have been high on Bortles since last year and view him as a “once in a lifetime player.”

Bortles is the classic prototype QB with good escapability, but he may need some time to develop. I’m not sure he’s a once-in-a-lifetime passer though.
