LeBron James came to the defense of Kevin Durant just one day after the Oklahoman labeled the soon to be league MVP, “Mr. Unreliable.”
Durant was more than reliable while pulling the Thunder from the brink of elimination in a game six win over the Memphis Grizzlies. KD finished with 36 points on 23 shots, got to the line 15 times and also had 10 boards. Durant’s good friend and nemesis, LeBron James gave his opinion on the Oklahoman’s headline and insinuated that it could cause the franchise a problem down the road.

Durant’s impending free agency is probably the biggest reason the Oklahoman and it’s sports editor backpedaled on the headline, and apologized.
Thunder fans might want to get over their insecurities, because 29 other teams would take Durant in a heartbeat.
