LeBron as a Rookie in Cleveland

Two-time former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Mike Brown was a guest on the The Dan LeBatard Show on Sports Talk 104.3 The Ticket on Thursday, and tried to give some insight into the Cavs thought process when it comes to a potential pursuit of LeBron James later this summer.

Brown believes the Cavs and owner Dan Gilbert will definitely make a run at trying to lure James back to Cleveland.

“I think they will definitely try to make a run at him,” Brown said. “With him being from this area it makes more sense for Cleveland to go after him than any other team besides the Miami Heat.”

When Brown was asked whether he thinks James would consider a return to the city where his NBA career got started, Brown responded by saying, “I don’t know.”

The pursuit of James isn’t what’s important.  That was expected.  It will be interesting to see if LeBron actually gives the Cavaliers the time of day.
