Oklahoma State freshman running back Devon Thomas has been arrested on felony armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill. The Tulsa World reported that he was arrested Friday morning. Here are the details available so far:
The victim reported the suspects stole his marijuana, money, shoes and clothing and instructed him to leave because they were going to “bust a cap.”
As the victim was leaving in his vehicle, one of the robbers fired at least one round into the vehicle, entering the rear windshield and nicking the driver’s head rest, according to Thomas’ arrest report. The report indicates the bullet narrowly missed the driver.
Thomas is being held on $125k bond right now. It’s actually his second arrest since March and he was suspended 4 games when he was in High School. It seems like the young man is going to start running out of chances soon.
Plus, these are serious charges so the team may wash their hands of him quickly. We are still awaiting comment from Oklahoma State.
