Adam Zagoria of TheKnicksBlog is reporting that one of Phil Jackson’s first major moves as team president will be to get Raymond Felton as far away from Madison Square Garden as possible.
Knicks President Phil Jackson told point guard Raymond Felton during exit meetings last month that he will be traded during the offseason, a league source told SNY.tv.
“Raymond has been told he will be moved this offseason,” the source said.
Jackson is sure to experience some frustrating moments trying to rid the Knicks of Felton and his $7 million contract. Felton has two years remaining on the deal, is coming off the worst season of his career and is facing gun charges.
