Roddy White was expected to have a new contract in place but a family tragedy put that on hold. White’s half-brother Tyrone Moore Jr. was shot on May 17, and according to reports, neither the Falcons nor White’s agents felt omfortable attempting to work out a deal so soon after Moore’s passing.
“The belief is a deal will be done by training camp, rather than this spring. The Falcons wanted to focus on free agency and the draft before turning their attention to their own players and their contracts.”
Around The League is reporting that White can expect a new deal by the start of training camp that should be somewhere in the three years, $30 million Brandon Marshall just got from the Bears.
