Sam, who is openly gay, was given a 3rd-4th round grade. Sam now becomes the first openly gay football in NFL history.

Sam, a 6-foot-2, 261-pound defensive end, was a first-team All-American and the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 when he tallied 11.5 sacks.
