James Blake Burned Home

Firefighters were called to the Tampa home of retired tennis star James Blake this morning, but unbeknownst to them this would be far from the standard call of someone seeing smoke.

A neighbor heard an explosion from the house at 16223 Sierra de Avila and called 911 about 5:45 a.m. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived to find it on fire.

As crews battled the blaze, they found two bodies, then three, then four inside. Although there have been reports on social media from people assuming the worst, the names, ages and genders of the deceased have not yet been released.

Although cause of the fire is still being investigated, there have been reports that fireworks were found in the home and some were strapped to the head of one of the bodies found in the home.

Blake, who has been renting the home for some time,  lives in Connecticut and was not there at the time.
