Puig, Luck

It might not be as bad as JR Smith celebrating a three that didn’t go in but Yasiel Puig did celebrate a little too early.

During Thursday Nights game, Dodgers Yasiel Puig was up at bat and when he hit the ball, he flipped it as if it was going out the park. Sadly, it just went to the wall and he only got to second base. Announcer Vin Scully shared his thoughts on Puig’s premature flip:

“Boy, that was a really high flip,” Scully said. “If you really want to learn how to flip the bat, here’s the maestro. … He thought that was a home run. That was definitely a home run flip.”
