Mark Jackson says Clippers fans should boycott

Writing has been on the wall for months.

Mark Jackson was having problems with his assistant coaches and management. There was a thought, even though he was the head coach, his assistants were really doing most of the work (this isn’t unusual in the NBA by the way). The only thing that was going to save him was a long playoff run and that came to an end when the Warriors blew a lead to the Clippers in Game 7 of their first round series.

Only Steph Curry really went to bat for Jackson, but in the end that wasn’t enough. He will get another opportunity, the question begs do the Warriors already have a replacement in mind who can duplicate or surpass Jackson’s success with the team.

  1. Someone please explain to me why a black man gets fired after a winning and hard fought season, but a white coach can win 2 games in his first season and get a $2 million raise? I’m trying to find a reason in my mind to say its fair but I cant.
