Writing has been on the wall for months.
Golden State has fired coach Mark Jackson, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Mark Jackson was having problems with his assistant coaches and management. There was a thought, even though he was the head coach, his assistants were really doing most of the work (this isn’t unusual in the NBA by the way). The only thing that was going to save him was a long playoff run and that came to an end when the Warriors blew a lead to the Clippers in Game 7 of their first round series.
Only Steph Curry really went to bat for Jackson, but in the end that wasn’t enough. He will get another opportunity, the question begs do the Warriors already have a replacement in mind who can duplicate or surpass Jackson’s success with the team.
