Yale player quits team to join choir.

Ball is no longer life for Yale basketball player Brandon Sherrod. The junior has decided to leave the basketball team to pursue his career of singing.

“This is supposed to be the year, and you want to play with your guys,” he said.

“But the Whiffenpoofs is a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Sherrod averaged 5.5 points a game during his three years at Yale.
