It’s no surprise to anyone that Johnny Manziel is a brash young man, and the Browns shouldn’t be surprised either. They obviously were very aware of Manziel’s off field activities, since he’s never had a problem showing it all on social media. It seems that Brows owner, Jimmy Haslam, is starting to grow weary of Manziel’s antics, however. It’s being reported that Haslam has told Manziel that he need to “cool it” with his social media expressiveness.
Chris Mortensen said #Browns have talked to Manziel about ‘toning it down.’ J. Haslam was ‘bothered’ by some of his actions on social media.

More from @mortreport on Manziel, via NFL Insiders. “He’s been told to cool it. He’s been told to tone it down.”

This all seems like a moot point for the Browns. They knew what they were getting when they drafted Manziel, so there’s no way to really justify Haslam’s request.
