With the 11th Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Denver Nuggets select:
11. Gary Harris, Guard (Michigan State)
Harris can do it all on offense, scoring inside and out while also offering support handling the ball. With plenty of pressure on Ty Lawson as the only real playmaker in the Nuggets line-up, and the unknown that is Danilo Gallinari’s ACL recovery, Harris will offer some immediate help to the Denver roster. – Belal
With the 12th Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic select:
12. James Young, Guard (Kentucky)
With the future of Aaron Afflalo in doubt, Orlando will need another wing to fill the hole. Young is a bonafide scorer that could give Orlando’s second unit a much needed lift. – Mark
With the 13th Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select:
13. Dario Saric, Forward (Croatia)
With Kevin Love’s future in Minnesota up in the air, the Wolves grab a possible replacement in the Adriatic League MVP. There is a lot of mystery surrounding Saric and if he will make the move to the NBA, but one thing that is for sure is the 6’10 big man is the ideal stretch prospect who knows how to score the basketball. – Belal
With the 14th Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns select:
14. Zach Lavine, Guard (UCLA)
If not for Andrew Wiggins, people would be drooling over LaVine’s athleticism. The 6-foot-7 guard would excel tremendously in the Suns uptempo offense. – Mark
Belal sidenote: This is my favorite player in the draft, don’t be surprised if he turns into the Russell Westbrook of this class. And remember where you heard it first!
With the 15th Pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks select:
15. Rodney Hood, Forward (Duke)
While Jabari Parker got most of the attention, Hood was a scoring machine during his final season at Duke. The small forward should be able to score once he gets to the league, and could be a great scoring 6th man for Atlanta almost immediately. – Belal
