I get the whole, we went to the same school so I am going to try to support him as much as I can. With that being said, if the Cowboys have to turn to Brandon Weeden in the regular season it is going to be a problem. Here is what Dez had to say courtesy of Dallas News.
With Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo being limited during organized team activities and Kyle Orton not attending the voluntary workouts, Weeden has been often working with the first-team offense, giving him plenty of opportunities to throw to Bryant.
“He’s been doing an outstanding job since he got here,” Bryant said. “In my honest opinion, I feel like he was doing some great things out in Cleveland.”
GM is not in Dez’s future, but then again he couldn’t be any worse than Jerry Jones.
