Former New York Giants safety Will Hill is attempting to make the best out of a horrible situation. Since being released by the Giants last week for testing positive for marijuana, an undated report claims Hill has signed a new deal with the Arena League Football’s Arizona Rattlers.
“I’m excited to get out on the field,” said Hill. “I’m ready to get out there and put people over the [dasher board] wall.”
However, after a numerous of reports were release claiming the former NFL safety had signed with the Arizona Rattlers, the team issued a statement denying such claims.
According to a report by FOXSports, Hills signed with the Rattlers before signing with the Giants in 2011, but they still have his rights although any further information is not being released by at this time.
“He was with [the Rattlers] before he signed with the Giants [in 2011],” Hill’s agent, Adisa Bakari said in a phone interview. “They still have his rights. There’s not much more I can say.”
Hopefully Hill will be able to stay away from secondhand smokers and get himself back on track.
