Soccer star Hope Solo was arrested overnight for allegedly beating up her sister and her nephew at her house during a party. The goalkeeper for the Seattle Reign FC is being held without bail for two counts of investigation of domestic-violence assault.
Her are the details we have so far:
Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray said this morning that officers were called to the home because of an assault and a noise disturbance.
“There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation,” Murray said.
At some point during the party, Solo allegedly assaulted her sister and her nephew, he said. “There were visible injuries on them,” Murray said.
If you remember, her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens was arrested once for allegedly assaulting her and police used a stun gun on him to arrest him. In fairness, no charges were filed in that case though. We don’t yet know what caused this alleged beatdown that Hope put on her sister and nephew but when we do, we will pass it along.
Use your words Hope, not your fists and maybe feet since you are a soccer player.
