The Jaguars marketing team has been working overtime this off-season to make sure that we all know about the upgrades they are making to the stadium.
I thought the poolside cabana idea was brilliant and that would make me want to see a game in person. Those types of “experiences” at games are what will make people want to leave the comfort of their couch, with their HD, and no bathroom lines. The next thing they are pushing is their upgraded videoboard, which apparently comes in at 362 feet wide and 60 feet high per the Florida Times Union.
Unless you live in Texas, chances are you will be perfectly fine with them taking a shot at the “everything is bigger in Texas” saying. The only slight problem here is that we haven’t heard al that much about the team being better. Most of that will depend on if Blake Bortles turns into a franchise QB which we will find out in the coming years.
