Jermichael Finley has been cleared to resume his NFL career, but according to Ian Rapoport, the tight end could walk away from the game and receive a nice parting gift for his pain.
Finley could collect on a $10 million insurance policy if his retirement is forced by his neck injury.

Finley has repeatedly said that “it’s about the love of the game” and not the chase of a paycheck. He will still need to find a team willing to take a chance on his neck as well as have a doctor partial to clearing him.
