Kelly, 54, underwent a six-week, grueling regimen of chemotherapy after a recurrence of jaw cancer earlier this year. His last treatment was May 15th and he’d been in ECMC in buffalo recovering.
His brother, Dan Kelly spoke to the media about his release:
“He’s excited about getting home. We’re really excited for him and he’s glad to get going on the road to recovery.”
