Patty Mills may parlay a dazzling performance in the Spurs closeout game over the Heat into a lucrative starting job. The New York Post is reporting that the Spurs backup point guard is now on the Knicks radar.
“New York is definitely a city Mills would want to play in,’’ the source said. “He has that personality.’’
The 25 year-old Mills has reportedly been on the Knicks radar for sometime now. Mills opted into his contract last offseason and was paid just $1.3 million. Now he becomes an unrestricted free agent.
