Golf hasn’t been the same since Tiger Woods has been out for much of this year. Ratings have dropped, but fans will probably be happy with this latest news.
According to Wood’s agent, the star golfer is making significant progress after his back surgery. Woods has gone as far as to now extending his swing and hitting full shots now.
“Tiger is making continual progress,” Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, told ESPN.com in a text message Tuesday morning. “He feels better each day and is extending his swing as he progresses.”
Woods reportedly wasn’t even watching the U.S. Open this past weekend. Instead, he was preparing for his comeback to the course by hitting full shots, including his driver.
No return date has been set, however. We’ll just have to see when Tiger announces his decision to return. Word is that he could make a comeback as the British Open approaches.
