Memphis Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph wants to remain with the franchise and hopes to retire with them when it’s all said and done, but talks have stalled.
With this, it’s being reported by Yahoo Sports that the 32-year-old will consider his early termination option to become a free agent in July.
The major issue, sources say, is the money and years. The Grizzlies are offering three years while Randolph wants a deal in the ballpark of four years for security.
Randolph has a $16.5 million player option for next season. He has until June 30 to opt out and officially become a free agent on July 1.
