I think we can add the Pittsburgh Steelers to growing list of teams who want to speed their offenses up to a quicker pace.

According to Mark Kaboly of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Steelers are expected to run more no-huddle offense.  The move most likely stems from the Steelers 6-3 run to end the 2013 regular season and it gives Ben Roethlisberger th chance to control the game with his arm.

“I don’t want to call it our base offense, but I think you’ll see more of it, so it was more important for us to get it in early and often,” Roethlisberger said.

The Steelers averaged 10 more points per game after utilizing the no-huddle.

“I think it’s something that we realized where we can be and what we did last year, and where we were successful, so I think we’ll use it more,” Roethlisberger said.
