Tavon Austin dominated at West Virginia, but had moments as a Rams rookie wide receiver where he was unsure of himself and things going on around him.
Austin averaged 18 yards per catch over his final four games of the year, after averaging five or less yards per reception in four of his first eight starts. The now second year vet told Around The League that the NFL game was hard to adjust to.
“It’s all about getting comfortable,” Austin said. “It was a pretty big adjustment for me at first. The playbook was different. The speed of the game was different. I eventually caught on and the game settled down.”
Austin will definitely benifit from being moved around some this season and having Kenny Britt get a lot of attention from defenses as well.
