Vince Young announced his retirement today, but it wasn’t voluntarily, he believes the beginning of the end was his beef with his former coach Jeff Fisher.

No one will know the whole story, but Young’s reputation never has been the same.

“I had my ups and downs. I made the mistake of getting in to it with my coach and that kind of hurt me a whole lot. When you go to different teams, they already have a bad perception of you. When that’s out there, there’s nothing you can do,” he said.

“That’s what everyone else focuses on, I don’t focus on that. It wasn’t too bad,” Young said of his struggles in the NFL . “I’m very happy and thankful for living the dream I had as a kid.”

Vince Young had so much potential, but sadly for whatever the reason it never all came together.

It never came all together?? The boy has a winning record and was Rookie of the year. Jeff Fisher started a beef because he wanted another QB. Jeff Fisher is a piece of S**T. If talking back to a coach was major problem in the NFL then Jay Cutler should have been got walking papers.

Jeff Fisher is an over-rated Ken doll who likely wanted a white boy at QB rather than Young….Fisher’s a bigoted pice of Shiite Muslim-as opposed to Sunni or Hanafite Muslim-whose a** NLF types love to kiss though he’s a crppy coach!!!!
