Private workouts are a very important part of the NBA Draft process. Players are able to use their time with teams to show why they would be a good fit while going up against other top prospects.
The Los Angeles Lakers are holding a private workout for some potential draftees today, and UCLA freshman Zach LaVine definitely left his mark on the team.

With a three/four-step lead-up, UCLA's Zach LaVine had a 46" vertical here at his Lakers workout.

Forty-six inches. Forty-six. That’s almost a four foot vert for LaVine, an absolutely freakish number. Although we shouldn’t be surprised after seeing this dunk from the freshman a few months back.
LaVine is a wildcard in this years draft. While his position in the league is not really set, teams are enamored with his athleticism and potential. He is projected to go anywhere from the lottery to the end of the first round.
