In the spirit of back to school and sports, the city of Atlanta is getting some much needed support from one of their favorite hometown local celebrities. Rapper 2Chainz has teamed up his T.R.U. Foundation with the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL) to assist Atlanta’s underprivileged youth to help prepare them for the new school year in a fun way.

The event happens today from 3pm-5pm in Downtown Atlanta Central Park Gym. Here are all the details of the event.

The T.R.U 2 School Fair will empower over 200 of Atlanta’s youth by providing school supplies and haircut/hairstyles in preparation of the 2014 school year.  Attendees will also be treated to food, fun contests, prizes, bounce houses and special appearances throughout the event by some of Atlanta’s favorite celebrities.

The first round of the highly anticipated AEBL 2014 playoffs will commence immediately following the T.R.U 2 School Fair (schedule below).  2 Chainz’s team Street Execs, who became the number one seed after beating Trinidad James’ team Gold Gang,  will face-off against underdogs Grind Hard.

Game 1 5:00p (4) Good Life Music Group vs (5) Monopoly Bros/Court Cred

Game 2 6:00p (2) TIG vs (7) Team CTC

Game 3 7:00p (1) Street Execs vs (8) Grind Hard

Game 4 8:00p (3) UptownSounds vs (6) HDMD
