In the grand scheme of things, this will long be forgotten about but it is dumb either way. Auburn QB Nick Marshall was cited after a traffic stop today for tinted windows and less than one ounce of weed according to WMAZ-TV:
According to Police Chief Lonnie Holder, the former Wilcox County High School standout was pulled over at 1:19 p.m. Friday for having a tinted windshield.
Holder said Marshall was cited for a window-tint violation and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana — a violation of a city ordinance.
I want to stress that he was not arrested and it was a very small amount of weed. Still, it’s not a good look for the darkhorse Heisman contender. As of right now he is still scheduled to appear at SEC Media Days next week.
