Brian Urlacher and Donovan McNaab were among the participants of a roundtable, taking place last Wednesday on Fox Sports, and when discussing Minnesota Vikings running back, Adrian Peterson’s eye-popping career numbers; Urlacher pointed out just how amazing the feat was considering he “hadn’t had a quarterback in four years”. The hilarious part of that: the gentleman sitting to his left, Mr. McNaab, played quarterback for the Vikings during the period Urlacher is referring to. (Fast forward to 5:33 of the video for segment)
Urlacher tried to be smooth with the recovery, but it was too late. We all knew what he meant. The awkward smiles by both men ensure the show keeps rolling though.
I mean, it’s not like Urlacher didn’t have it right in the first place. McNaab went 1-5 as the Vikings starter before being benched for then rookie, Christian Ponder and that other guy, Joe Webb.
