The San Diego Chargers have officially announced that they have agreed to a two-year contract extension with RB Danny Woodhead.
“Danny is an integral part of our offense,” said General Manager Tom Telesco. “His work ethic and on-field production were key elements last year. We look forward to having him be a part of the Chargers organization into the future.”
Woodhead totaled 76 catches for 605 yards and 6 TDs in 2013 and serves as a talent at receiver coming out of the backfield for the Chargers. He amassed over 1000 yards from scrimmage and played a key role on special teams as well. Woodhead just proves to be an all-around valuable player for the team.
