Donald Sterling May Still Own Clippers When Season Starts

Shelly Sterling seeks protection from Donald Sterling

I guess we will see how serious the players were about those threats of not playing if the Sterlings were still involved with the franchise.

At this point it looks like Donald is going to keep suing the NBA forever and in turn block any sale of the team. Here is what Adam Silver had to say.

“I can’t say with certainty because it’s in the hands of the probate court right now, and Donald is in the process of suing us for lots of money and we’re defending ourselves against those lawsuits,” Silver said.

“It’s difficult to say anything with certainty in a situation like this,” Silver said. “I can say with certainty that we are doing everything in our power to move Donald out as an owner in the NBA.”

The NBA should have just took over the team, but they were greedy and didn’t want to get their hands dirty, so they let Shelly Sterling handle the sale.

Now, it is biting them in the back.

  • These lawsuits can drag on forever and he may keep the team, who knows? I wonder if Bron would really do that to Cleveland.

  • Everybody with a brain could have seen that the NBA made some raggedy threats to make them look tough Let a player say those things his ass will be unemployed quicker then Johnny Manziel snortin coke in a bathroom

  • If the tables were turned and someone Black
has said disparaged Jews, there would be no
due process as far as they’re concerned.
All avenues of financing and ways
in which money flows in and out of his business
would be immediately cut off. They never forgive
and never forget. Just ask Donald Sterling,
NBA Commissioner Silver and Mavericks owner Mark
