Tragic news for Georgia Tech, as their committed QB, Jaylend Ratliffe, suffered a head injury after being involved in an ATV accident on Tuesday.
Ratliffe was a standout QB for Scotland High School in North Carolina, and was committed to play for Georgia Tech in the fall. Ratliffe is suffering bleeding of the brain after suffering a fractured skull due to the accident and is listed as being in critical condition.
The young QB was airlifted by helicopter to a Charlotte Hospital to undergo surgery.
Thoughts and prayers to his family. Poor kid right at the brink of seeing his dreams come true, always hard to stomach.
