I’ll never forgive Jerry Jones for not drafting Johnny Manziel. Even though he is still my favorite owner by far, the chaos that Manziel would have brought to Dallas (and the revenue) would have been on of the greatest things of all-time to watch
Jerry isn’t making me feel any better, by saying he almost pulled the trigger.
“I want you to know that almost as I was handing in the card, it was that close to putting that Manziel card in. It was that close,” Jones said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Clarence Hill. “I looked over to my son, Stephen, our chief executive officer, and I said ‘I took the right pick.’ … He was the top player by three players on our board at the time that we were sitting there looking at him.”
The Browns are having a hard time dealing with the magnitude of Johnny Football, but he would have fit right in with the Cowboys.
Damn you Jerry, damn you.
