It’s about that time people. College football season is quickly descending upon us, and with it comes massive expectations and way-too-early award predictions for some of the nation’s biggest stars.

Defending National Champion Florida State figures to be a big part of college football all season long. With that success is sure to come plenty of individual accolades for their stars, and chief amongst them is Seminoles (see what I did there?) quarterback Jameis Winston, your defending Heisman trophy winner. Could Winston become the first player to win back-to-back Heisman’s since Archie Griffin of Ohio State in the 70′s? According to Bruce Feldman of FoxSports, Winston’s head coach Jimbo Fisher believes the quarterback has a good shot of taking the hardware home again.

With every single game being so important in college football, it will be interesting to see if Winston and his teammates can live up to the hype and pressure that comes with being the defending National Champs.

Football season can’t get here soon enough.
