While the Indiana Pacers await on Lance Stephenson, they could be looking to sign some other players to retool their bench unit. One of those players could be Cleveland Cavaliers free agent swingman C.J. Miles.
The Pacers have interest in Miles and they could use their mid-level exception on him, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
Clarification: Indiana has its full mid-level of $5.3M to use for free agent C.J. Miles, or to use in part with another player.

The Pacers also could be interested due to Miles’ locker room presence. According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports, “Miles has always been viewed as a strong and positive influence in the locker room, a fact that likely helps explain the Pacers’ quick interest.”
Miles can provide some great scoring off the bench for Indiana, something the team definitely has been missing for the past few seasons.
The only question seems to be for Pacers fans is that if Miles is just another Chris Copeland? Copeland was meant to be the sharpshooter off the bench for the Pacers, but he was rarely used last season. If Indiana signs Miles, they must find away to utilize him like Cleveland did.
Of course, this all hinges on Stephenson, though. The Pacers have to figure what to do with the him first.
