Barry Wilmore is an astronaut that has spent over 200 hours in space and he’s scheduled return to space for another 6 month assignment. The problem is that Barry is a diehard NCAA football fan.
Barry leaves on September 25th and he’s asked NASA to provide him with the SEC Network so that he can keep tabs on his favorite teams.
“I don’t watch a lot of sports — my wife might not agree with that — but I do like to watch football, the SEC Game of the Week, and I try to catch Tech every chance I get,” Wilmore said.
NASA has agreed to provide Barry with a way to watch all of the games via the internet while in space. This just shows you how large college football has become and how much it means to people.
Everyone should take this article into work on Monday and ask their boss for Sunday Ticket, it never hurts to try.
