Mark Sanchez is relaxed and loving life without pressure as a backup for the Philadelphia Eagles. That all could change if a team looking for a veteran passer comes calling.
After going going 11-of-12 for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ preseason loss to New England, Chip Kelly is aware that trade offers could start coming in for Sanchez.
The Eagles head coach indicated that he’d be willing to listen.
“What are you giving me?” Kelly said, via CSNPhilly.com. “I mean, we’ll listen to anything for anybody. We’re not just going to put our head in the sand and say no. It better be a pretty good deal in terms of what it is. But that’s not in any of our thought process.”
I think a Sanchez trade is highly unlikely with the Eagles being one Nick Foles injury away from Matt Barkley leading the team.
