David Garrard, 36, played for the New York Jets last season after his short lived retirement. Well, Garrard didn’t actually see the field in New York, as Geno Smith was the starting quarterback for the entire season.
Most recognize Garrard from his Jacksonville days. The 10-year veteran spent nine of his seasons in Jacksonville, where he tossed 89 touchdowns to 54 interceptions.
Yesterday, we found out that Sam Bradford will miss the entire season due to a torn ACL. The Rams could very well move forward with Shaun Hill, but Garrard is hoping he gets a call.
Would love a call from the rams!

Getting a job is hard out here these days, so it’s hard to blame Garrard for promoting himself via Twitter.
