Throughout his 13-year NFL career, you could find Donovan McNabb quarterbacking on Fox NFL Sunday. This upcoming season, the retired former-Eagle will be back on Fox every Sunday, calling games from the booth.
McNabb will be joining Brady Quinn and David Diehl as former NFL players in the booth for Fox on Sundays when the season kicks off a few weeks from now according to Pro Football Talk.
The Associated Press reports that McNabb will call some games as a color commentator alongside Dick Stockton during the regular season. McNabb, who also works for FOX Sports 1, will split the job with former Browns first-round pick Brady Quinn and former Raiders linebacker Kirk Morrison as the network looks at a variety of new voices in the booth.
They won’t be the only new additions to the broadcast roster this year. Former Giants tackle David Diehl will also move behind the microphone and join Thom Brennaman to fill one of the slots on the FOX roster in 2014.
It will be interesting to hear McNabb on Sunday’s, as the former Pro Bowler is sure to offer insight only a quarterback who has come under so much scrutiny could have.
