The Dallas Cowboys and running back DeMarco Murray don’t seem to be on the same page when it comes to what his exact role will be.
Murray has clamored most of the offseason for a bigger role and more carries. The oft-injured Murray didn’t miss as many games last season as he usually does, but the Cowboys are still not taking any chances.
Dallas head coach Jason Garrett deemed Murray the leader of what will be a running back by committee approach.
Garrett on Demarco Murray: "I see him as theleader of a committee, but boy he's got bell-cow traits." Me: He will see a ton of the ball

Garrett took some of the sting away by saying “Murray will see the ball a ton.”
